How much deposit do I need?
Your deposit decides your mortgage rate. See what you'd need at each level for a given price, and how putting down more moves you into a cheaper rate band.
Deposit needed at each LTV
A bigger deposit (lower LTV) usually unlocks better rates.

How we worked this out
What we assumed
- Loan-to-value bands shown: 60%, 75%, 80%, 85%, 90%, 95%. A lower LTV (bigger deposit) usually unlocks a better rate band.
- Deposit % and LTV are worked out from your price and deposit; rate hints are general guidance on how bands map to pricing, not live quotes.
The actual rate you're offered depends on the lender, product and your wider profile.
